Maintain a high level of plant safety:

  • Ensures all team members are trained and performing in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure accident/incident investigations are carried out and documented to determine root causes, corrective actions and following-up to ensure completion.
  • Promote proactive identification and elimination of hazards.
  • Correct unsafe acts or conditions, ensuring health & safety policies are followed.
  • Perform daily-unplanned inspections. Ensure that inspection is appropriately documented.

Manage the PC&L Team

Roles and Responsibilities

Providing reception/administrative support as a medical receptionist/secretary within a family doctor's office, where duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Answering calls to book, change or cancel appointments and booking follow-up appointments as needed

Providing exceptional customer service skills while contacting patients and responding to requests regarding test results as well as for follow-up

Greeting patients as they come to the front desk, handling patient registration, checking patients in, updating patient's demographic information

  • Effectively segregates and documents any non-conforming goods in Molding and Printing, and issues documentation

Working Conditions

  • Job requires both office and plant floor exposure. Both areas are air conditioned and are subjected to high noise levels. In the plant areas there will be exposure to moving machinery, fumes and dust
  • Incumbent is expected to be standing for long periods of time. The majority of the shifts will be spent standing and walking.
  • Occasional requirement to lift/handle material or equipment of moderate weight
  • Regular need to give close attention, either hearing or seeing to what is happening
  • As part of normal working conditions incumbents must be prepared for tight deadlines, stringent accuracy requirements, frequent interruptions, and uncomfortable situations especially when conducting audits.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the HR Director, the successful candidate will provide a wide variety of administration and support services to their assigned client group(s) as it relates to the HR function. The ideal person will be an individual that is able to gain the acceptance and credibility from all levels of the organization, including hourly and senior management, and use this influence to effect change and HR program management throughout the organization. This role could also involve labour and field HR activities throughout Ontario operations (including union relations).

Position Responsibilities :
Provide effective and strategic counsel to local stakeholders and actively work to achieve continuous improvement in all areas of the Human Relations function
Enhance, introduce and implement best-practice methodologies in support of effective associate relations
Compile monthly reports and analysis, including recommendations, for Regional and Corporate use

Complete various Oracle transactions and audits for clients
