Construction market research in construction renovation opportunities

Carry out site visits

Build relationships and coordinate with clients, joint venture partners and consultants

Prepare prequalification submittals

Meet with project stakeholders

Prepare meeting minutes and agendas

Review preliminary designs

Take-off quantities and review for completeness and accuracy

Prepare preliminary (budget) and final cost estimates

Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotes

Produce written proposals

Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies

Ensure compliance with proposal requirements

Participate in post-proposal clarifications and contract negotiations

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Education and Experience:
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or CET (preferred). Diploma may also be accepted as an alternative with equivalent experience.

2+ years of project estimating experience in duct work projects in Canada (required)
