Job Description:
Summary
Reporting to the Production Planning and Scheduling Lead, you will provide timely support on developing, maintaining, analyzing and coordinating the Plant Production Schedules for all FGF manufacturing facilities, one at a time.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop production schedules for the manufacturing lines based on the Master Production Plan issued weekly
  • Analyze material requirements plan and release orders for all materials locally purchased
  • Ensure that all locally purchased items are received and processed accurately in the ERP system and send final confirmation to A/P for processing the payments
  • Constantly review and analyze production variance reports to ensure production plans are in place to meet both customer and deliverables and minimize material obsolescence
  • Review daily production schedule with Operation Leaders and make necessary changes in coordination with the Planning team
  • Continuous improvement is part of the day-to day approach at FGF; in parallel to the daily tasks as Production Scheduler for a certain facility, ability to act as project manager for low complexity continuous improvement projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Experience
  • 3-4 years’ experience in Production and/or Raw Materials Planning for manufacturing
  • Excellent analytical skills and understanding inventory planning fundamentals
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems required
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Purchasing or Logistics is desirable

Team Leader - Sanitation


Reporting to the Sanitation Leader, the Team Leader - Sanitation is responsible for the sanitation and organization of all equipment, machinery and utensils used in the production process as well as the cleanliness of the plant and external premises while providing hands-on leadership.

  • Leads by example and fosters an environment of mutual respect and team work among Team Members
  • Conduct pre-shift huddles and provides feedback for Team Members
  • Leads, coaches, mentors and trains Sanitation Team Members
  • Coordinates all sanitation activities to accomplish sanitation practices according to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP’s)
  • Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation records
  • Leads sanitation personnel onsite and ensuring daily requirements/procedures are carried out
  • Conducts SWAP test as necessary
  • Must be a demonstrated decision-maker who easily interacts with others
  • Collects regular water samples, check PH levels and maintain accurate records

Site Maintenance Leader

The Maintenance Team Leader will be responsible for the day to day activities of the shift Mechanics. You will support and improve maintenance operations by becoming the technical expert on all the production equipment for your site. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, and lead by example.
  • Leads by example & fosters an environment of mutual respect & team work among Team Members.
  • Be a “hands-on” leader and work very closely with all operations departments to provide immediate, timely support in order to ensure operational targets are met.
  • Train; coach; guide and mentor existing, as well as new shift mechanics.

  • Promote and support Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing.

Required Ingredients:
  • Licensed Millwright 433A and or Electrician 442A preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment Must be a demonstrated leader who interacts with others and is adept at leading/motivating a team to meet schedule demands.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication skills, along with simple mathematical abilities.
  • Ability to manage difficult people.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible to work days, afternoons, nights & weekends if needed.
  • Experienced with maintenance systems and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Passionate about mechanical repair.

Site Sanitation Leader

Reporting to the Site Leader and Sanitation Leader, as the Site Sanitation Leader you will provide hands-on leadership to the Sanitation Team on all shifts at your own site to ensure all related tasks are performed properly.
