Global & Work Integrated Learning Administrator, FMCA

Position Summary

The Global & Work Integrated Learning Administrator is responsible for providing logistical and administrative support for all international mobility and internationalization initiatives, including designing, leading and coordinating programming for inbound visiting students and outbound students; and developing and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of the Faculty’s comprehensive internationalization strategy. The incumbent is the main point of contact in internal and external departmental communications relating to operations of study abroad specific to the Faculty. They will be responsible for the marketing of the Global Summer School program on Faculty’s social channels. Additionally, the role oversees the administrative functions of global Work Integrated Learning opportunities in the Faculty.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a 3-year diploma or degree in Business or Management, coupled with knowledge of international development or recruitment. In addition, the successful candidate will have:
  • Knowledge and familiarity with College structure and experience in a post-secondary educational environment is an asset;
  • Skills/training in placements, recruitment, international activities, exchanges;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interpret, explain, and advise in a mentoring role;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively handle interactions with people at all levels of the College and external stakeholders;
  • Superior time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision;
  • Experience in dealing with workplace confidentiality;
  • Information Technology knowledge and skills i.e. web design and social media experience, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Summary
